The Honors Ensemble aims to allow students to pursue their love of music in a low-stress, casual, cooperative environment. They hold several opportunities for members to perform over the course of the academic year, including performances at Honors Week, the Student Honors Organization Town Halls and the annual Honors Holiday Party.

Mission

The Honors Ensemble serves to provide the opportunity for Honors students to connect with their peers who are passionate about music to play together in a casual group with a variety of instrumentalists of all skill levels.

Membership

Honors Ensemble holds weekly rehearsals in the Honors Village Music Room. Meeting times are determined by member availability each semester. All skill levels are encouraged to join, with no formal audition required. Members are expected to attend the weekly rehearsals and semester performances. Members enjoy leadership opportunities and musical development.
