Gretchen Garrett

Gretchen Garrett is the Honors Academic Assistant II. She organizes the scheduling of all Honors courses and manages course development. She processes Wentworth Scholarship applications, budget concessions, space allocation and instructor evaluations.

This position connects Gretchen with instructors across campus. She enjoys the opportunity for purposeful contribution while connecting with others – resulting in a sense of community and new friendships.

Aside from keeping Honors connected with campus, Gretchen indulges in her passion for plants and animals. She previously works some weekends at a local botanical garden and has been involved in animal rescue (any other foster fails out there?). A perfect evening for Gretchen includes crab legs and a good thunderstorm.

 


Magda Wahl

Administrative Specialist II/UWC Scholarship Financial Coordinator

Magda Wahl is the Administrative Specialist II/UWC Scholarship Financial Coordinator – the Honors authority on all things business & monetary. Magda oversees financials for the United World College Davis, Lombardi/Stamps, Raybun and study abroad scholarships, as well as HR, payroll, travel and other fiscal matters.

With a Master’s in social work and over 4 years of financial aid experience, Magda is well-prepared to do what she loves: help people. In Honors, she assists students and staff access the wide range of resources UF has to offer.

Outside of our office, Magda reads, cooks and spends time with family and friends.
