Gilman Winner Alejandra Carrasquilla

2nd year Honors student wins a Gilman Scholarship to study in France

Alejandra Carrasquilla is a second-year Business Administration student specializing in International Studies and minoring in French & Francophone Studies. Next semester, she will fly across the Atlantic to exchange abroad at the SKEMA School of Business, in Sophia Antipolis, France to take courses in Accounting, International Management, and Globalization & Development, among others. This exchange has been facilitated by Warrington College of Business's Adolph Wohlgemuth Scholarship, the UF International Center Scholarship, and the U.S Department of State's Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship, which "offers grants for U.S citizen undergraduate student of limited means to pursue academic studies or internships abroad." Although she will miss The Swamp, she is very excited to participate in such an amazing opportunity.
