Lateral & Transfer Student Admissions
There are currently 2 pathways for non first-year students to enter the University Honors Program.
Rising UF sophomores who weren't part of Honors during their first year may be eligible to apply. Requires a 3.75 UF GPA and minimum credit hours.
Select graduates of the Santa Fe College or Valencia College Seneff Honors programs who are admitted to UF may be eligible to join automatically.
Important Note (Transfer Students):
Students who earned an A.A. degree as part of a dual enrollment program and are admitted to UF as first-time-in-college (FTIC) are not eligible for this transfer agreement. Those students must apply to the Honors Program as part of the UF freshman application process.
