About Affinity Groups
Honors Affinity Groups are informal opportunities for honors students to connect around shared interests. These groups are not student organizations, nor do they receive any funding. Once a minimum number of students have committed to forming a group and a Peer Affinity Leader has been identified, an honors faculty member will assist the group with their initial gathering. The PAL is responsible for maintaining group activities after the initial convening. Activities may include socials, professional development workshops, visits to campus resources, and more. If the group fails to maintain interest / activity, it will dissolve.
