About H-Day
Are you an adventurous first-year student? Do you enjoy the great outdoors, taking a dip in cool waters, and meeting new people? H-Day is for you!
H-Day, an official retreat of UF’s Honors Program, is offered to first-year Honors students at the beginning of the fall semester. We understand some students might not be able to commit to a days-long excursion; H-Day is the solution for many. Unlike other retreats offered by Honors, H-Day is all the fun packed into a single day of events.
H-Day peer leaders engage students by hosting inviting ice breakers and small group conversations before students embark on a day of adventure at one of Florida’s premiere national parks and springs. Students who attend H-Day hit the ground running with campus involvement, and they build long-lasting relationships that help enable success at UF.
