Kelly J. Medley is a Lecturer and the External Scholarship & Fellowship Coordinator in the University Honors Program. She works with students to identify fellowships that match their personal, academic and career goals. She enjoys advising students through the deeply reflective application process.

Before joining Honors in 2019, Kelly worked in academic and career advising at several higher education institutions, most recently as an honors advisor. Her research interests include the motivations and developmental needs of four-year university students who simultaneously earned an AA degree alongside their high school diploma, as well as the unique positioning of honors advisors in the higher education landscape. Oh, and she’s a double Gator, too!

When not assisting students, Kelly attends Gator athletic events and runs 5Ks with her dogs, Otis and George.
