Study Abroad
The University of Florida's Study Abroad Services are directed by the UF International Center in 123 Grinter Hall. (http://www.ufic.ufl.edu/)
Types of Programs offered:
- UF Exchange Programs- reciprocal exchange of students, pay UF tuition abroad
- UF Sponsored Programs- UF professors teaching UF courses abroad
- Independent Provider Programs- study abroad with other universities such as FSU, UNC, etc; or independent study abroad organizations like Semester at Sea
The programs offered range from full year to semester to summer sessions. In some cases, shorter (one week) study abroad trips are available. In many cases you may use your financial aid in any approved SA program, but an advisor will help you with this.

- Attend the Study Abroad Fair:
- Visit the UFIC office in 123 Grinter Hall. Browse the resource library to begin your search for the perfect study abroad program.
- Sign Up for an Information Session. (See http://www.ufic.ufl.edu/sasinformation.htm for details.) This is an informal meeting in Grinter Hall to explain the basics of SA and to answer any questions you have about choosing the perfect program, financial aid, credit transfer, deadlines, etc.
- Schedule an appointment with an advisor based on which country you are interested in. The advisors below are willing to work individually with interested students and help with any concerns or even assist you in choosing a program or a country.

Multicultural
The Multicultural and Diversity Affairs division of the Dean of Students Office "seeks to promote awareness, understanding of differences, collaboration of cross-cultural groups and to foster a sense of communal relationships among all students." (http://www.dso.ufl.edu/multicultural/)

- Attend a Student Assembly this fall sponsored by the DSO and various multicultural organizations to welcome new students to UF.
