Tyler Foor

Tyler is a Junior in the college of Liberal Arts and Sciences double majoring in Biology and Psychology and is from Fort Myers, Florida. After completing his undergrad, he hopes to go to medical school and pursue his love of medicine and science. Aside from working at the Honors Program, Tyler also works at the English Language Institute here at UF where he teaches English classes 4 times per week to foreign students who wish to come study here in the future. Tyler also does research in the McKnight Brain institute studying CTE and Alzheimers and volunteers at Shands hospital in the NICU. He is also a lover all of things sports. Whether it’s soccer, baseball, football or basketball Tyler has been a participant in sports his whole life and is an avid Yankees fan.

Deeva Gupta

“Deeva is a second year mathematics major from nowhere in particular. After completing her undergraduate degree she has vague plans to ‘do something worthwhile’ with the education she has been fortunate to receive. Her interests span from everything the New Yorker has ever published to fretting about the future of humanity.”

Michelle Ohlwiler

Michelle is a freshman Marketing major and a French and Francophone Studies minor from Orlando, FL. In the future, she plans to combine her passions for business and international studies by studying abroad, doing a French internship, and working for an international company. In addition to working as an Honors Student Assistant, Michelle enjoys organizing the Honors Program’s Nerd 5K and planning marketing events for Florida Women in Business. In the past, she participated in Honors Without Borders, Extreme Dance Company, and UF French Club.  

Jack Baltz

Jack is from Gulf Breeze, FL and is the eldest of eight other children. He is currently a second year student in the College of Engineering studying Mechanical Engineering. When not working in the Honors office, Jack serves as the Student Honors Organization Vice President. When not in class, Jack sings baritone in the University Choir and is heavily involved in IRHA and Area Governments. After completing his undergrad, Jack plans to attend law school to earn his JD and later work with patent law.
