This is an opportunity for prospective honors students to see how the University of Florida Honors Program can enhance their undergraduate experience.
The 2015 Visitation Day will be held on April 12, 2015 in the New Physics Building (NPB). Families are welcome to begin checking in to the event at 9:00am. Opening remarks will begin at 9:30am, after which families will attend two 30-minute academic sessions focused around areas that their students are interested in studying. After two of these sessions, families will be separated into groups which will then rotate through a tour of the Honors Residential College at Hume Hall, lunch with the Honors Ambassadors, and a Question & Answer session with an Honors Advisor. Following these rotations, families will choose two 25-minute breakout sessions to attend based on their students’ interests. Visitation Day will conclude at 3:30pm, after which families will have the option to take a full campus tour with the UF Cicerones.

For families that will be arriving in town on Saturday, we will be hosting an informal meet & greet with the Honors Ambassadors at the Broward Hall Basement (BRO) on April 11 from 6:00pm-8:00pm. Various student organizations from the Honors Program will be tabling at this event. Any families who are attending Visitation Day are also invited to attend the meet & greet. Also on April 11 is the annual Orange & Blue debut, which is the Florida Gators' spring football game. This game is not associate with the Honors Program or Visitation Day, but families who will be in town are encouraged to attend. If you have already attended an Afternoon with Honors tour, there is no need for you to attend this event. Space is limited and on a first-come, first-serve basis.-The cost is $15 per person and breakfast and lunch will be provided. Any cancellations made at least one week prior to Visitation Day will be given a full refund.
