Honors Program Application for Admission

The application for the Honors Program is now available through 11:59pm EST on March 1, 2014. Please note that we do not accept late applications. We highly recommend that students submit their applications well before the deadline to avoid any technical difficulties.

Students will log into the Honors application using their Gatorlink username and password.  This is the login information students used to check their admissions status to UF.  If you need help with your Gatorlink, please contact the UF Help Desk.

Part 1: Activity List – all applicants

In this section, applicants will enter their experiences related to the following categories: Athletics, Internship/Work/Community Service, Leadership, Music/Theatre/Fine Arts, Research, and Other. For examples of possible responses to this section, please see these tips.

Part 2: Two Essays – all applicants

In this section, applicants will respond to two essay questions. There will be one longer essay prompt that is required of all applicants. For the second, shorter essay question, applicants will choose one from three possible prompts.

Part 3: Petition Essay – petition applicants only

In this section, students who do not meet the invitation criteria will be prompted to answer one additional petition essay. If applicable, this essay prompt will appear automatically at the end of the application.

You may save your work and exit if you wish, but once you have clicked the final SUBMIT button you will no longer be able to edit your application.

Best of luck as you complete your application! Honors admissions decisions will be announced by email on April 2.

When you are ready to proceed, you may access the application by clicking here.

** Note: If you get an error message when trying to log into the application, the UF Help Desk recommends clearing your cache and cookies and restarting your web browser. That should solve the problem so you can proceed with your application.**
